Chapter 204 " We Have Much Bigger Problems

• In the parking lot, Alex paces back and forth in front of his car, with his cellphone pressed against his ear, waiting to be answered. When he once again falls into voicemail, he releases his frustration by angrily kicking the car tire before making another call.
• "Mr. Baker, I was just about to call you," Jackson affirms upon answering. "I deeply regret it, but I've just been notified of what happened."
• Upon hearing these words, all of Alex's hopes dissipate. Confirming that his children are indeed in Nicole's hands, he closes his eyes and leans against the car, unable to organize his thoughts. Tears stream down his face, fear overwhelming him, especially because he doesn't know what to expect or how to act.
