Chapter 6 " I Said I Took Care Of Her

• At the shopping mall, Rebecca, Susan, and Melissa are finishing up their shopping and decide to take a break for a snack. However, as they do so, they come across Samantha, Sabrina, and their friends.
• " "Incredible, I already see these two on campus and now I have to deal with them here too."
• " "Look who's here, my lovely cousin! Dad sent a kiss for you. We can't wait for Sunday lunch when we'll have the whole family together."
• " "Hello, Samantha, send another kiss to him. See you on Sunday. Now, we're leaving." Samantha, teasingly, takes the bag from Rebecca's hands and starts examining it. "Give that back, it's not yours. Stop being an idiot."
• " "Look at my little cousin, planning to stop being a little girl with these sexy lingerie? It's about time, isn't it?" Samantha's friends laugh at Rebecca's embarrassment, except Susan and Melissa, who take the bag back from Samantha's hands.
• " "You're an idiot, Samantha. Leave your cousin alone. Get over this jealousy once and for all. Envious!" Melissa takes Rebecca by the hand and leaves, leaving Samantha talking to herself. Susan follows them. "Friend, why don't you fight back? You know Samantha is just jealous of your beauty, your life, your boyfriend."
• " "I know, Mel, but she's so mean that I don't even know how to react. She's always trying to humiliate me. In college, I avoid crossing paths with them as much as possible, but at parties and in the same circle of friends, they're toxic."
• " "Forget about it. Next time, you put her in her place. We'll take you home. The meeting must be ending, and you need to get ready to meet your man." Susan concluded.
• After the meeting ended, Peter discussed the details with his father and the Halgraves. After a while, he returned to his apartment and found Samantha there, with a ready coffee and dressed in a sexy maid costume.
• " "What are you doing?" Peter asks when he sees her.
• " "I thought we could have some fun. It's been a while since the last time. I just don't understand why you chose her instead of me. I'm a real woman, she's just a girl. I always provide you pleasure, don't I?"
• " "Get out of here, Samantha. You've crossed all the limits." Peter approaches her and looks her up and down, feeling his desire grow.
• " "Come on, Peter. Are you going to wait for Miss Virginity to decide for how much longer? Two, three years? Is that what you want? Is your love for her that great? I'm here for you now. Why don't you touch me? Why don't you take me to bed and satisfy your desire? I know you want it. Stop thinking about her and think about us in this moment. It wouldn't be the first time." Peter remembers the frustration from the previous night and kisses Samantha with burning desire, leading her to the bedroom.
• Meanwhile, at Rebecca's house, she is getting ready to surprise Peter. She chooses the most sensual lingerie she bought and puts on a black dress that reaches above her knees, with a generous neckline and a slit up to her thighs. She ties her hair and applies a soft makeup, highlighting her red lips. She puts on a pair of high heels, takes two shots of whiskey, and heads towards her boyfriend's house.
• At the hotel in downtown Seattle.
• " "Alex, the meeting went smoothly. The proposal is excellent, and your grandfather liked it a lot. All the documents are being analyzed, and I will continue investigating as you requested, including the other companies from both families. How was the crisis in New York?"
• " My grandfather always approves everything. That doesn't surprise me. I only agreed to participate in this meeting because I have other business to attend to in Seattle. All the servers at the design office in New York crashed. It took us a few hours to restore everything. The IT team at Shaw Group is terrible. Grandpa doesn't help with that. I could easily solve this issue. He's probably ready to leave. Let's meet him in the lobby. " When they arrive at the hotel lobby, Nicolas is already waiting for them.
• " Well, Ryan, let's go to the hangar. Alex, when are you coming back?
• " In a few days, I'm going to New York and will spend a few days there before returning to Boston.
• " Great, then we'll discuss the proposal from Relic Halgrave Group. I believe we can collaborate with them.
• " Alright, grandpa. I'll review everything and we'll discuss it when I get back. " Alex says goodbye to both of them and leaves. His phone rings and he answers it.
• " Hello, little brother. I missed you. " Alex remains silent, as he can't stand his brother. " Won't you even greet me? We've shared so many things, brother. I just wanted to know how you're doing.
• " Get straight to the point. Why are you calling me?
• " Well, little brother, I thought I should tell you how amazing the party was last night. We missed you, especially your girlfriend. She was really sad. But don't worry, I took care of her. " Alex ponders these words.
• " Okay, I'm glad you had fun. Is there anything else you want to tell me?
• " Well, little brother, we share much more than just blood, you know. It's always a pleasure to take care of what's yours. I'll stop by your office tomorrow.
• " You don't need to bother. I'm not in Boston. It's always a pleasure talking to you, but I have more important things to do. Goodbye. " He hangs up without waiting for a response and calls Henrique. " Mr. Henrique, where did Miss Spencer spend the night yesterday?
• " Sir, I'm not sure. She didn't answer my calls during the night. I waited for her until late in the early morning, but she asked me to leave. I insisted on taking her home, but she refused and told me to leave. I apologize for that. " Alex hangs up without responding and goes back to his room.
• Rebecca arrives at Peter's apartment. She enters, takes off her dress, and takes a deep breath, gathering courage. She goes to his room wearing only her sensual lingerie. However, when she opens the door, she is shocked to see her cousin Samantha on top of her boyfriend. She is in shock for a moment and then leaves the room. Peter pushes Samantha, dresses in a robe, and goes after Rebecca, who is in the living room getting dressed again.
• " Rebecca, wait. I can explain. I'm sorry. I was weak and let myself be carried away. Please forgive me. " Rebecca is stunned by what she saw. Her reaction is cold and distant. She remains silent, looking at him. " Please, Rebecca, say something. " Samantha comes out of the room with a malicious smile and taunts Rebecca.
• " Sorry, cousin. Someone had to give Peter what you couldn't. That's the difference between a woman and a girl. " Rebecca smiles back.
• " No, that's not being a woman. You're just a slut. I hope he thought of you during sex. " Rebecca turns and heads towards the door. Peter grabs her arm.
• " Please, Becca, I messed up. I'm sorry. Give me a chance to explain and fix things.
• " Not now. Not with her here. I have to leave. I need to think. " Rebecca opens the door and leaves. A tear rolls down as she enters the elevator. She decides not to go back home and heads to a hotel in the city center.
• " Damn it. Did you plan this? Did you want to ruin my relationship with her? I was an idiot for falling into your trap. Get out of here now.
• " I didn't know she would come here. I just wanted to be with you. You wanted it too, otherwise you wouldn't have touched me. Tell me you didn't enjoy it. Tell me I didn't give you pleasure.
• " Get out of my house now. I don't want to look at you, let alone talk to you. " Samantha goes to her room, puts on her clothes, and leaves, sporting a victorious smile on her lips.
• At the hotel, Alex receives a message.
• "I told you I took care of her and that we share much more than blood, little brother. I love you." " He opens the files, which are photos Bryan took of Sophia the previous night. Alex doesn't respond, he just saves the images and calls Sophia.
• " Hi, love. I'm sorry. We shouldn't have fought. I was thoughtless.
• " Sophia, what happened last night?
• " What are you talking about? Nothing happened. I stayed at the party until late and then took a taxi home. I was upset and that's why I ignored you. I'm sorry for that. Please forgive me. " She is surprised by his question, but pretends not to be hiding anything.
• " It's okay, Sophia. I just needed to know if you're okay. " Alex hangs up as usual, without waiting for a response.
• He becomes frustrated with all of this and goes to the hotel bar. Meanwhile, Rebecca checks in and goes up to her room. There, she cries for several minutes, feeling her heart shattered. She feels ridiculous for being on the floor of the room crying over a betrayal. She goes to the bathroom and swears she will overcome this and seek revenge. She washes her face, fixes her makeup, and goes down to the bar to have a drink and distract her mind.
