Chapter 177 " One Of The Best Feelings In The World
- In the morning, when Rebecca opens her eyes, she is alone in the room and a feeling of emptiness tightens her chest. She stretches in bed, trying to convince herself that he really was there, that it wasn't just a dream. As his words from the previous night come back to her memory, a smile escapes her lips and she brings her hands to her face, feeling her cheeks blush, as if she were a teenager in love again.
- "Oh, Rebecca, you need to stop this," she mutters to herself, sitting up in bed and looking around, searching for any evidence that he was there. "I'm not crazy, he was here," she whispers, placing her hand over her chest, next to her heart.
- She lies back down on the bed, staring at the ceiling, absorbed in her thoughts, reliving every word he spoke the night before. Like an anxious child, she sits restlessly on the bed when she hears the sound of the door opening. Her heart starts pounding, as if it wants to jump out of her mouth. Her eyes sparkle and a smile lights up her face as she spots Alex, holding a breakfast tray and a red rose that he picked from the garden.
