Chapter 19 Stripped Of Duty

• “Marking you was the worst mistake I have ever made in my life.” His voice was filled with nothing but venom, thick and lashing through my skin with my black tears falling on his skin. I watched him stare down at it to snicker, staring back into my eyes.
• “I did not do it. I did not do anything.” I plead with him, begging with my eyes, trying to find some compassion in him, digging deep but there was nothing with all of me breaking before him. I could not even talk from there, all the energy just drained out of my body, helpless before him, not knowing what could have provoked such behavior from him. All my fears stared back at me, them and more, losing the only hope I had left.
• “All the people that died on that battlefield are on you, their blood is all on you. I curse the day you stepped foot in this castle. You will never be my queen. I strip you of all your luna duties. You can rot in whatever corner you find in this castle.”
