Chapter 143 War Strategies

• I found only two ladies from our pack in the kitchen. The Nightshade pack had taken charge, cooking for us all even though they hated using electrical equipment but they did so. The other women from the other packs helped too.
• As the day went on, more and more wolves filed through the borders to help where they could. It warmed my heart out. We cooked in silence yet silence that was so comforting. Food was taken to the children’s house, to the training warriors then we moved from house to house knocking.
• Most of the houses were empty, no one there. In others there were only children sitting around and not knowing what to do with themselves. Nearly all those with deceased fathers had lost their mothers too that night. The mothers were either unstable, near death, dead or had run away after turning rogue.
