• I walked through the door only to stop. Raven’s creature was floating there. She had been on my shoulder, why had she not come out of the castle? She stared out with large eyes and as her eyes fell on me, they went wider. A sound pulled from her, bouncing even faster with me too pissed for it. I just scooped her up and went on with my walk but she floated out of my hold and back to the door. I shook my head, walking away to the flying machine. I wiped away the blood from my eyebrow.
• I got out on the office floor to march to my office. Opening the door was like being punched in the face. The office was just clustered with nothing but her delicious scent. I thought I would be sick, felt as if I would fall where I was. My hands gripped on the handle harder before walking on. I could see two bags, she had packed. She had been ready to go. She would be safe in that very moment if the sick excuse of an alpha had not stepped in. My hand ran through my hair only to groan out loud. I wanted to tear everything apart.
