• “ Make a fire for us.” Alpha Silver shot out. He seemed irritated and I had to turn behind me to make sure he had been talking to me. My eyes went back to him and he was staring at me with such daggers I thought they would kill me just then.
• I nod my head, turning around with my chattering teeth. In my head I just kept telling myself it was just a few hours then it would be over and done with it but who was I kidding. I walked further away, finding broken tree branches, peeled off tree barks and skin. I collected it into piles, moving on to get more until I was satisfied it would last the whole night. I walked back to the camp, making many trips to fetch all the fire wood I had collected. I brought all the logs, barks and peels together. I had not really done it before but I was smart, I would figure it out. My eyes stared all around, realizing I did not have the fire bark which would bring a spark to start the fire. How was I going…
• I shook my head, nearly laughing at myself. It took just a thought and the spark ignited. I watched it burn bigger and bigger with the dried leaves picking up the flame followed by the peels along with the bark. Soon, it was a large fire. I stood up straight, sure it would keep up while I went to get more logs because it would be a long night.
