• I sat down in his chair, getting comfortable only to stop as he leaned near. I was going to faint. My head was just all fireworks with my toes curled. My hands shook just a little as I placed the files on the desk. I turned the cover over, browsing through with my mind absolutely confused on what was happening or what I was doing. The king’s hand was suddenly on mine, stopping me. My eyes went wide, biting my lower lip with the sparks insane, as if to burn me alive. I just closed my eyes and willed myself to focus.
