Chapter 41 - A Woman

• It appeared as though the man had endured a struggle just to survive. Caiden could feel the man's trepidation when he got out of the car and looked him in the eye.
• He approached the car and politely inquired, "Are you coming from up there?" as he examined the damaged engine. "The engine in this car doesn't look good."
• "Yes, I was up there some hours ago," he said. Caiden was repulsed by his foul breath and crooked teeth. "The mountains are extremely chilly. The cold bothers me."
