Chapter 125 - Like A Fool

• Kamara took a seat in the corridor and started crying again. It felt as though a significant portion of her had been taken away and would never grow again. Even in her sadness and despair, she could still sense her wolf howling inside of her.
• How could she have let herself be fooled twice? Initially, Caiden killed her parents while denying any memory of the incident. However, Louis had once again deceived her by lying and using her weakness as an excuse to take her away. Had she not learned anything from her years of suffering in that pack? Caiden should have been strong because of her rejection, her flight to human territory, and her trials as a single mother of four children, but instead she was there, fallen, demonstrating to everyone that she was indeed as worthless as they thought.
• She pondered about all of this for hours, and when she finally got up, her feelings and ideas were entirely different. Kamara talked herself into believing that this time, instead of running from the lessons that suffering was trying to teach her, she would let her heart bleed.
