• Amara Denz's phone vibrates on her side. She doesn't have to look at the screen to know who it is. Leo. She's lost count of the calls, the voicemails, the messages. He even tried to send her flowers a little while ago. As if flowers were going to fix this. She would prefer to turn off her phone so she won't constantly be reminded of what she has lost, but she can't. She quit her job yesterday and got herself right back into the very thing she quit Leo's company job to escape from and she spent the morning sending out resumes. It's not going to get her any awards if anyone invites her for an interview and her phone is off.
• She tries to ignore her phone now, but the flash of the notification light taunts her constantly. She turns the phone over, but she still knows she have a missed text message, and though she hates Leo for what he's done to her, she can't help but want to know what he's typing.
