• As Amara walked away, she could hear the secretaries getting back to work. Whatever had distracted them so much still did. She shrugged it off. Let them have their inside joke. She didn't need them. She had Leo and what they did in private was far more entertaining than some meme or cat video or something else they shouldn't be wasting their time on when they were working.
• She arrived at her office and entered, closing the door, although this failed to hide her. She grabbed her handbag and pulled out a mirror. Her lips were barely pink now and any swelling had gone down. No one possibly gazed at them. She was paranoid. They were focused on working and that's the reason they'd not glanced up when she passed by their offices.
