• Amara was shaking by the time she got into her office. She wished she could turn around, walk away from this building, and never come back. She would have settled for being able to close the door, sit down, and calm down with some deep breaths. She could do neither. She couldn't just walk away from this job because she liked not being homeless. And she couldn't spare a moment to centre herself with all the wretched glass. Anybody who passed by the hallway outside of her office would be able to see her.
