• I walked into the wedding dress boutique the next day, with my mother, Silvia, and Blake by my side. I was dreading this visit, but I knew it was necessary. I had to find a dress for my wedding, even though I didn't want to get married. It was something I could no longer postpone.
• As I looked around at the sea of white dresses, I felt a wave of despair wash over me. I couldn't imagine myself in any of these dresses, and the thought of wearing one, that too for Erick, made me feel sick to my stomach.
