• I groaned at the sound of my alarm clock going off in the distance, disturbing my peaceful slumber.
• If that wasn’t enough., the harsh light of the sun coming in through the windows burned my eyes and I sighed in irritation, reaching with my hands to find my cell phone and turn off the goddamned alarm so I could get a few more minute of peace before getting up and going on with the day.
