• The recent development in Blair’s brother’s health, followed shortly by his hospital discharge, marked the beginning of a new chapter for the both of them. So when the time came that she had to take him home to her apartment, I didn’t think twice before lending a helping hand.
• As we arrived at the apartment, I carefully unloaded the wheelchair for Blake to sit on since he still couldn’t walk. “Thanks,” Blair muttered before taking the wheel and guiding her brother into the apartment. When they disappeared through the door, I picked up some of their bags from the car before following behind them.
