• As thoughts of the future, accompanied by the weight of my emotions threatened to engulf me, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of regret for projecting my frustrations onto Landon. The stress, the anger, and the uncertainty of everything created a storm within me, and in this moment of vulnerability, he had become an unintended recipient of my frustrations.
• He didn't deserve to be on the receiving end of my emotions, especially since he has been nothing but kind, helpful, and patient even if he didn’t need to be. Because this wasn’t in the contract, this wasn’t part of our deal, and this definitely didn’t fall under the term ‘casual.’ Nevertheless, I did appreciate his presence.
