Chapter 38 Can't Get Over You

• Landon’s POV
• I stepped out of my office to inform Blair, my secretary, of my plans for the evening. The words were on the tip of my tongue, but I pushed them back after crossing the threshold of my office door as both my plans and intentions shifted in a heartbeat.
• In the office lobby, under the harsh office lighting, I witnessed Blair crumple before my eyes. I saw her eyes roll back in her head and then…she was falling. I rushed towards her as she collapsed, worry and alarm surging through my entire body, until I forgot about my plans, the date, and the other women.
