• I woke up feeling like crap, not even wanting to get out of bed. I felt impossibly sick, running back and forth to the bathroom, and feeling like a total mess emotionally. It was too much to take, knowing that Eliza was engaged to Landon, the man I had been in love with for so long.
• He had said he loved me, that he would be with me alone, but he was just letting it happen, without so much as voicing his opinion or standing up to his father! It was all too much - my feelings, my brother's therapy bills – all of it combined was crushing me, drowning me in a sea of despair and no matter which way I looked…I couldn’t find a way out of all of this.
