Chapter 99

• When he opened his eyes again. he reached for his phone to check the time. It was already morning so he got out of bed and took his bath. Since he couldn’t re-wear what he had worn the previous day to the meeting, he called his driver to meet him up at the hotel with new clothes. He didn’t have to wait long because his driver arrived thirty minutes later. He skipped breakfast. As he left the hotel, he called his lawyer to make sure he was still with him and he got the answer he wanted.
• “Thank you for agreeing to meet me on such short notice,”
• Nathan said as he and his lawyer sat with the man and another that he assumed was his lawyer.
