Chapter 51

• Friday morning finally came and Nathan left the house early again, the meeting wasn’t until twelve but he knew they would arrive even before the time slated for the meeting to take place, even though the tech team had it under control, he still had to check for himself that everything regarding the call was set and there will be no network issues, not to lie, he barely even understood what the tech team was saying. He thanked them after they told him all the mics were working and the call line was also working properly. According to his secretary, a total of forty people were expected to be present and about a hundred pls more would attend via phone call. A great number of people for his first-ever solo official duty, all of whom were far ahead of him in age and also experience, Heck, he was anxious but he did his best not to let it show. It won’t do him any good to show a weak front. When it was time for the meeting to begin, he drank a cold bottle of water, before heading to the conference room where the meeting would be held with his secretary tailing behind him. Grace helped him set things up at his table; he made sure to get in the conference room before the others came in as he didn’t want them standing up when he walked in; he only had to wait for about ten minutes before everyone entered and it was time for it to begin. Nathan took a deep breath to clear his head before he spoke into the mic.
• “Thank you for honoring my invitation, ladies and gentlemen, It is good to have you hear,”
• Nathan spoke into the mic, his voice sounded bolder than he felt, thankfully.
