• “Wait, who draft this contract? Do you have a legal team or you made this yourself?”
• He asked even though he already figured out what her answer will be.
• “My dad is a lawyer and he helped us, but Gianni wrote the contract herself,”
• Johan informed. Looking at him now, Nathan realized he looked pretty young, maybe around his age or younger but he didn’t want to ask about his age because it had nothing to do with what was going on, Nathan realized he had a lot more to do, these three were not even ready for what they set out to do and if they are going to win and keep the vultures from taking from Sebastian, he had to take the lead, and that’s if they let him.
• “Okay, I think we need to start over because this won’t do, let’s say you have successfully found me, Sebastian long lost son, now what do you think will happen? Do you think Sebastian and his relative will just accept me just because you say I am related to him?”
• Nathan asked, looking at the three of them, oh these people were set out for failure, had zero planning skills, oh he has a lot of work to do.
• “Hmm, Nathan, you seem to know the way here and I don’t mind, I mean we don’t mind you giving directions, I mean I never thought about this before those losers showed up, the thing is I had no problem with how the company is being run because Seb has the right people working for him and I was just going to be the heir but everything changed when his relatives came into the picture, I had no problem with them at the begin but Seb doesn’t want them to have what he owns and they are pressuring him into signing everything to them, that’s where the problem is,”
• She explained and he nodded in understanding, since they were ready to work with him then he would help.
• “Okay, let's say we have a deal, now you need to run me through what you all have planned out, also we need a DNA test report that proves I am Ulmer’s son, which needs to be fabricated because we all know I am not his son, again, this is too plain, we need a lawyer to draft a proper contract, that’s if you think we still need one, if you don’t then it is fine,”
• he explained.
• “Right, I did good picking you,”
• Gianni said. Sounding so relieved. There were a lot of things he needs to know about this woman, she clearly wasn’t how she seemed to be when he saw her on tv, she was just like a normal woman and didn’t even seem interested in what Sebastian owned rather she seems to be doing all this because she didn’t want her husband to be pressured into making a decision he doesn’t want to make.
• “Even I think so,”
• Paul said and Johan nodded too.
• “Right, who can get in touch with a place where we can get a DNA test done? Plus, just how long will it take for me to meet Sebastian in person?”
• Nathan asked going into business mode, he had a lot to do and wanted to start immediately.
• “I was thinking after you heal, also about the DNA, I don’t think we need one, at least not now, I told Seb about you last night and he wants to meet you, he is the one to decide if he needs paternity test,”
• Gianni responded.
• “Yeah, that’s why we need a plan so that we won’t be caught off guard, in case he needs one to prove I am his blood, anyway, you need to do more if you want to succeed, I am sure these people are top people in the field and you already said you all are amateurs which is a huge disadvantage for us already,”
• Nathan told them all and they seem to understand what he meant, good to know they knew where they currently stood.
• ‘I will alert someone who will do that for us, does this mean you are in?”
• She asked.
• “Obviously, I already told you before that I will do it,”
• He responded, he didn’t need to sign the contract they brought but just for formality, he signed it and gave the papers back to Gianni who passed it to Paul.
• “Thank you, Nathan, and here is a card, you can get anything you want with it, it is unlimited,”
• she informed passing him a black card that only a few elite people in the whole of Sydney own, Nathan stared at the card in disbelief, this all still felt like a dream.
• “Why are you giving this to me? I haven’t even done any work yet,”
• he said but still collected the card from her.
• “Hello, we are partners already and you need money to do shit, everyone in the family owns one of those, your sisters will get theirs too,’’
• Gianni explained, well he wasn’t expecting his sisters to be involved too.
• “Can you tell me more? I really didn’t expect my sisters to be part of this, I know Sebastian Ulmer is wealthy but just how much wealth does he have that everyone involved with him is entitled to something huge?”
• He couldn’t help asking.
• “For one, Seb is a trillionaire, he has money, assets, and lots more, the cards are not a problem,”
• She responded.
• “so, why can’t you and his relative work things out? Don’t get me wrong, I am just curious, it seems there is enough for everyone, why couldn’t you guys just share?”
• Nathan asked.
• “I was ready to share, I am not a greedy person, I only found out last year that I was the one in Seb’s will, when he was diagnosed and his family members came around, I thought the worse that can happen is we will split what he had but that’s not what they want, they want me out of the picture completely, especially Pedro, that bastard, he is the one pushing everything,”
• she informed. Nathan knew who Pedro was, the man was a billionaire of his own and was once someone Nathan looked up to, that was until he found out he wasn’t an honest man and also didn’t give a fuck about the poor, he bought the complex Nathan used to live in when his mom was still alive, not minding that a lot of family lives there and chased everyone out, not even giving them enough time to pack up and leave, they had ended up homeless for a couple of weeks until his mom could find another place for them to stay, he had been eighteen then and swore to get back at the wicked man.
• “Pedro is an Ulmer? I never knew,’
• He said.
• “He is not, his mother is but she died a long time a long, she was Seb's older step-sister, Pedro is leading the others in this,”
• she further informed.
• “Now that’s a crazy one, I know Pedro is not a good person, one will think since he has his own money, he won’t be seeking to get from others too,”
• Nathan let out.
• “Oh, if only you know how greedy that man is, his other cousins are no different, they are all blockheaded individuals and I will rather die than see them reap where they did not sow”
• Gianni said in response, Nathan wanted to point out that neither of them also sowed anything in what Sebastian Ulmer owned but decided not to say anything.
• “You get a house that you can move in with your sisters until you guys can move into the mansion, I brought the house papers to prove they are yours, and there are cars inside that you can use if you want, Paul will drop his contact before we leave and you can call him if you want anything,”
• She announced passing him the papers in question, he collected them from her and dropped them on the table.
• “People are working there already that will serve you there is a cook, a gardener, and security, anything else you need will be added.”
• She revealed and Nathan only nodded, he was still a little bit overwhelmed with how far things changed for him
• “I think that’s all you need for now, I spoke to the doctor before we came here and he said you can be discharged today, so all that is left is for your sister to get better enough to be discharged too.
• Gianni informed and Nathan realized he hasn’t gone to see Nelly yet. She must be awake already; he made a note to go see her as soon as they were done here.
• “Yeah, you have done well,”
• Nathan informed. They went back and forth with their plans and Nathan gave a lot of incites as to what he thinks is the best approach and they all concluded that he would make the make a good leader so at the end of the meeting, they became more of a team with him being the team leader, after they left about two hours later.
