Chapter 29

• Barely a week after Nathan started working at the office, he got told he would be given a project by his team leader. No, he never expected it to come so fast but according to Demon, his team leader, it was the chairman’s order and he was to work on the deal on his own. Nathan almost thought he had been joking but right now, he was staring at the mail that confirmed the project, and all files related to it were already sent to him. Yeah, the week barely started but it was definitely going to be a long busy week for him. They didn’t even let him rest before sending the mail to him. It still felt like they made a mistake but the mail was addressed to him and the file on his table had his name on it.
• “I can do this,”
• He told himself as he dropped his bag and sat down. The advantage of having his own office was that he didn’t have to deal with anyone, as long as he wasn’t required to meet them because it would have been hell of embarrassing for people to see him go through various stages of anxiety over the project. He stood up and walked around his office.
