Chapter 56

• Nathan decided to take the rest of the weekend off and spend time with his sisters since it had been a while since he last had a one-on-one talk with them, he got to know the little things they have been up to, Nora told him about her upcoming activities in school and he promised her that he would be there, Nelly, on the other hand, was just glowing and was all smile, recounting how the mean girls in her class were now trying to be her friend now that she was richer than them. They talked about watching him on the TV and he felt so much pride when they told him they were proud of him.
• He called Gianni to find out how Sebastian was doing and she told him he was recovering well, he wanted to go see him again but he didn’t want to old man to ask him questions that he couldn’t give answers to since Gianni said they shouldn’t talk about what happened while he was in coma with him just yet, he hoped they could talk about it soon as he didn’t want Pedro to be the first to tell the old man what happened, he knew that would not be good for them. Pedro was manipulative, if he got to speak with Sebastian before they explained what happened to him, it would be a disaster, he tried telling Gianni but she told him she wanted to prioritize his health and he didn’t want to go against what she wanted especially not after seeing how much his ill-health affected her negatively.
• Rather than spend his time worrying about what would happen, Nathan decided to just carry on working on the things he had to do without slacking, Monday morning, he arrived at the office as usual and decided it would be best to move back to his original office now that the chairman was awake again, he didn’t bother to inform Gianni as he knew she would not be showing up at work, at least not this whole week.
