Chapter 33

• Nathan didn’t see or hear from Gianni for the rest of the week, he wanted to call her but he didn’t. reason being that he wanted her to see the fault in what she did by not letting him know before submitting the proposal even though he found out it wasn’t her fault that the deal almost fell through, he still hated that she didn’t let him know before doing it even though he knew if she had not, Alec would have believed Pedro’s words and he would have lost for real. He wanted her to see the wrong that she did so even though he hated not talking to her and the fact that her absence in the office was felt, he still didn’t call her. Instead, he focused on working hard. He spoke with Alec a couple of times over the week and they both agreed that after Alec returns from vacation, he would go with him to Greece to find a good place to set up the new business.
• “Nathan, I am sorry,”
• Gianni said walking into Nathan’s office. Nathan looked up from what he was doing, it took her seven whole days to apologize, maybe he should ignore her for another seven days, to be even. He didn’t even think she would report for work this week seeing as she had abandoned him for a whole week.
