Chapter 72

• Over the next two weeks, Nathan was on edge, he expected the result of the DNA to be out anytime and he knew once that happened, his secret would be out and Sebastian would know he was a fraud, he could already picture the outburst and everything, every day, he woke up thinking that it would happen but nothing happened. As Nathan didn’t want to lose out once the results were released, he made the purchase of the building he wanted under his mother’s name and also paid a huge sum that would cover the renovation and every other thing else, he didn’t like slashing money in a spare account but he had to, just in case the old man seize everything that he gave him once the result are out.
• Even though Gianni told him not to worry, he was still a hell of worried that he might not be able to show his face in public for a while once the results were in, and at a point, he was scared that Sebastian might even send him to jail, he spent a good amount of time during the two weeks of waiting just thinking about what would happen once the result are released. Each time, he ended up breaking out in sweat so he tried hard not to think and also did his best with every job that was brought to his table, not like any major thing was brought to his table, he just did minor roles in the office, wrote various reports and was sent on multiple errands but he didn’t mind, that wasn’t the problem he had, if it was, it would not have worried him at all.
• He didn’t see or hear from Gianni for the two whole weeks, the news of the divorce hit the media a week ago and Sebastian’s side confirmed the divorce but nothing was said about the state of the will. Because of how busy he was, Nathan couldn’t go to the mansion but Sebastian did stop by at the office and even came to see him where he works. After he left, those who had doubts about him being Sebastian’s son amongst the interns suddenly believed and a lot of them became more friendlier while some stayed away from me. Not like that affected him in any way.
