Chapter 66

• The call for him to resume work came the next morning, he expected it to come early so when he got the call, he wasn’t surprised but what did shock him was that they moved him to a very junior team, an office with a lot of people, part of the marketing department but a very junior part of it, not that it made him any less eager to work, in fact, it made him more ready to work, he was going to prove himself to Sebastian again while working hard to build his own brand. Before he left for work, he spoke to his lawyer and the contractor that he hired to take care of the renovation of the building, initially, he wanted to just tear the whole place but realized the hotel structure was still in shape and he just needed to invest in changing things and it would be good to go for a first hotel; he already picked out a name for the hotel, he was going to name it after his sister, N&N hotel, it sounded cringe and clique but he liked it and wanted to gift his first project to his sisters, he knew the hotel would be one of many.
• He got to work early the next day and realized his old office was still available so he decided to go clear everything else that he would need for his new position and bring it to the new office. Before he could do that, his superior came in and introduced him to everyone, the new team was made up of about ten people and they all welcomed him with a bright smile. They already knew who he was so there was no hiding the fact that he was the chairman’s son, in fact, that was the first thing the person who showed him his seat talked to him about. Maybe they were nice to him because of his position but he didn’t mind as long as they were nice. After the introduction, he was able to finally go get his stuff, while in the office, he decided to call Gianni, surely, she would be okay to take a call already. He wanted to tell her that he was back working for Ulmer. She picked up immediately the phone started ringing as if she had been waiting for his call.
