Chapter 57

• Sebastian was so tired of sitting on his hospital bed doing nothing but letting time pass, he knew even though he was awake now and the doctors saying that he was recovering, he did not have much to live; He didn’t want to live the rest of his short life just being hospitalized but Rekha has refused to let him have what he wanted, it was like the young woman was keeping him here and away from the outside world to shield him, like he was some child.
• “Crazy woman,”
• He mocked. She left a while ago after nagging him for hours when he told her he would like to be discharged. He had a lot that he needed to put in place before he finally leaves the land of the living. He knew that day was closer than the doctors were saying and has long accepted that. Now that his son was finally found, all he needed to do was do right by him and give him an inheritance that would be huge enough and make up for the struggle that he went through growing up just because his mom and her sister decided to be stubborn, if not, Nathan would have lived the best life and would have probably already succeeded him, if Nathan grew up with him, he would not have had the need to marry Rekha, well, she did do what he wanted her to do which was to help find his son, he wished she would stop sticking by his side now and find her own happiness, she was wasting her life being with him and he already told her since the beginning of their marriage that she could have lovers if she wants but so far, she has refused to get one. Once he passed, he was sure she would move on, and probably go back to Italy.
