Chapter 49 Leaving Now
- "I'll take my leave now. Thank you for the meal. Although it wasn't exceptional, it wasn't bad either," Enrique expressed his gratitude to Madeline before turning and leaving her house.
- After he left, Madeline sat alone at the dining table, staring blankly at the spread of dishes before her. Meanwhile, clad in greasy clothes, Enrique lit a cigarette and strolled out of Madeline's residential area. He stood at the roadside, waiting for the bus that would take him home.
- In the evening, as he pedaled his food bike back to his stall, he noticed that Irena was already waiting there. She had changed out of her street vendor attire and was dressed in her usual clothing. Her refined aura was palpable even from a couple of blocks away.
