• "Are you genuinely forgetful or intentionally playing dumb? Madeline returned to the country this morning. Our friends in Salinsburgh went to greet her at the airport, everyone except you. Do you realize how disappointed Madeline felt when she didn't find you there?" Zoey chided with frustration.
• "Am I the one at fault in this situation? I didn't see her off when she left the country, and she didn't seem disappointed back then. Now, she's the CEO of a multinational corporation. Can someone like me, a humble grill vendor, even dream of reaching that level? Your presence is enough. I don't need to be there."
• "Quit with the sarcasm, Ricky. Listen, Madeline asked me to arrange a private room at the Green Garden International Hotel for tonight at seven. She's inviting a few of us from Salinsburgh for dinner. You have to be there," Zoey insisted.
