Chapter 13 A Boyfriend

• Upon hearing that, Irena was suddenly reminded of the fire incident. Last night, as she was fast asleep, she abruptly woke up to intense heat and found herself struggling to breathe in the thick smoke. Realizing the danger, she quickly made her way outside, only to discover that the entire house was engulfed in flames, with fire raging in every direction. She desperately wanted to escape, but there seemed to be no viable exit. Clutching a piece of clothing, she rushed to the window, waving it frantically while crying out for help, hoping someone would come to her rescue.
• Unfortunately, her pleas went unanswered. As the smoke grew thicker, her fear intensified, and she began to feel herself losing consciousness before eventually collapsing on the floor.
• During her last moments of consciousness, a man dressed in clothing rushed into her house, lifted her onto his back, and carried her to safety. It all came back to her now; that person was her savior.
