• Enrique took a sip of beer and quickly finished another bottle. With a plate in hand, he made his way to the kitchen to get some food. However, Madeline had beaten him to it. She took his plate and filled it with food. He didn't object to her action.
• "Don't reject me, okay?" Madeline handed the plate to Enrique and pleaded softly.
• "Since you went through so much trouble to get me here today, you must have something to discuss. Whatever it is, please go ahead and tell me," Enrique said while eating.
