Chapter 88 Preparing To Be CEO

• The night was cold and quiet. Everyone was getting ready for the party in honor of the new CEO, which is me by the way. The only difference is that, while everyone is getting ready to support me as I wear my father’s forbidden crown, I am still having serious doubts about this whole shit. Something just doesn’t seem right today, I just don’t know what it is. Yeah, I called it a forbidden crown because he never wanted me to take his place, he never wanted me to be in this damn position. He only agreed to this because I’ve proven myself to the board of directors over and over again. So I guess you could say that he is doing this simply because he has no fucking choice. Maybe that is why I don’t feel too good, or maybe it has something to do with that bitch that has been threatening me all week because I made Nathan kill one of her biggest clients.
• I keep seeing her in my head, sometimes. She was too scared to make any move initially. She is scared of Nate because she knows that he now knows about her affairs with his enemies, and now he is coming for her. After he killed Mr Stevens, he became so vicious that his attitude even scared the shit out of me. First, he had been all sweet and nice to me, telling me how he would try and make things right and support my decisions to take over the company ruthlessly.
