Chapter 21 Hurting Her Feelings
- POV: Nathan
- Call me selfish if you want to, but I think this is the only way I can get her back. She is proving so stubborn and I know it’s because of that silly guy. With the way she is behaving these days, it’s easy to tell that she likes him. And now I’m beginning to believe that he was her new boyfriend. I don’t know why she is lying about it. Maybe she doesn’t want to cause problems between us until the divorce process is complete. I guess that is why she is hiding the truth from me.
- She doesn’t want to have anything to do with me anymore. All she wants are the company and estates and then she is done with me. I listened as she kept ranting about our agreement, threatening to take me to court if I tried to change our agreement. It sounded a bit funny because I have no plans to go back on my words. If anyone should be shouting and threatening to sue, it should be me because she broke our agreement when she left the house to live in her friend's house. She also broke the agreement when she started seeing another man before our divorce was finalized. So No, I’m not listening to her and I’m certainly not finalizing our divorce and handing her the company until she follows my rules and sticks to our initial agreement.
