• I’ve been in this position a thousand times. Even after I got married to Laura, Hayley still tried to get down with me, so I know for a fact that this girl is up to no good. But I played along just to see what she had up her sleeves. I mean, it’s very possible that she was sent here by Laura just to piss me off, or maybe Laura has some tricks up her sleeves as well. Yeah, she is smarter than she looks and she has a way of making things so difficult for me.
• It could be that she wants me to cause a scandal that would spread around the city like wildfire. For all I know, she could be trying to set me up with her friend so that when the news about my illicit affair with her friend breaks out, the board of directors and her father will have no choice but to let her run to the company so they won’t get affected by my scandal. It’s a very dangerous game is playing with me, but I have to admit that she is indeed smart to think of this strategy to keep her job.
