• While he spoke to the security guards, I quickly called Ethan to confirm if the girls were still where I left them. I’ve been seeing Kendrick at every corner, screaming on the phone, giving orders to some people. Doctor Gregg is finding it difficult to locate the emergency response team that picked Laura up from the party Venue. So while he was going about the hospital searching for them, I waited by the lobby, observing everything he was doing and at the same time keeping a close eye on Kendrick.
• He felt uncomfortable having me around him, so he moved out of the lobby, waiting until he had put a reasonable distance between us before speaking to whoever he was calling. To be sure that everything was under control, I called Ethan and made sure the girls were still in police custody. When I was sure that they were still being held at the station, I decided to ignore Kendrick and help Doctor Gregg in finding the guys that brought Laura here. I figured that there was nothing Kendrick could do anymore because we were together in this building and I’ve got my eyes on him. Besides, Laura is with her parents, and I’m certain that there is no way in hell that he would try to go in there to hurt her. So I thought anyway.
