Chapter 30 Monitoring Her Closely

• She was so fucking amazing when she spoke with the board of directors. Those guys are pretty stubborn and tough, and I’m surprised she stood confidently before them and gave a beautiful speech. She convinced everyone that she was worth a shot, impressing everyone with her speech, leaving us all stunned and totally impressed. I couldn’t help smiling at her self confidence, it was quite a surprise and I would have loved to celebrate that little victory with her, but she pushed me away, again.
• She is so damn stubborn when she wants to be tough. I just had to leave her to get settled in, I’m sure she will come around soon. I mean, she won’t keep pushing me away when she knows she is going to need my help with the company sooner or later, would she?
