• After listening to Rosa's revolt and letting her curse Patrick freely, I turned to Alejandro, who was eating and staring at me. There was no longer that arrogant smile on his lips, he just ate in front of me, analyzing me with those enigmatic eyes.
• "Take it easy, Rosa, I haven't forgiven him yet," I murmured, feeling even more embarrassed with this man staring at me without saying anything. Without a doubt, it was easier when he opened his mouth and said what he thought all at once. "I left there saying that I needed some time to think about what I would do. I still don't know what I'm going to do."
• "You can stay here for as long as you need, and if you decide not to go back, I would love to have you living with me. You know I always wanted to take you out of that hell and raise you. Now I finally have the means to do it!" she said, standing behind me and wrapping her warm arms around my shoulders.
