Chapter 26 Xxv - Sophie

• I didn't need to think about where I would go, the only place I could go was Rosa's house. I was sure she wouldn't leave me on the street and would let me be alone to think and make my decisions.
• She had advised me to give Patrick a chance, to find a little happiness in life, but now I wasn't sure if I would ever find that. All I needed now was to stay away from him while I think about my life and all the problems that have happened to me this week.
• As the car Audrey called took me to Rosa's house, all I could think about was how foolish I had been, how easily I had been enchanted. I was already making our marriage work, while he was paying a woman to sleep with him.
