• It was his turn to lean in. “Listen” he paused. “ I have a proposal for you, one that am sure we would both like.”
• Now that, had my attention. My anger disappeared, only to be replaced with curiousity. My heart thumped. The ringing bells in my head were at it harder as if their rent was due. I was not sure what he was planning, but nevertheless, I gave him my ear.
• “ I have been thinking about you, A LOT, bad thoughts, naughty thoughts.” My eyes widened at his confession. Oh! That was all I could muster. Ignoring my shocked expression, he continued.
