Chapter 50

• “Hayden, we cannot keep doing this. I can’t keep doing this to my best friend. You are her father; it is a line I shouldn’t have crossed in the first place!” I was infuriated with myself, and desperate but alas! The man wasn’t even listening to me. I watched him as he slowly put his coat on, his hair still wet from the shower, oh he was fine! But that was beside the point. It was still at the crack of dawn, and I was pretty sure that majority of the mansion’s occupants were still asleep.
• I wrapped the sheets tightly around my body, feeling vulnerable all of a sudden, even though he had pretty much seen all of me. His eyes were like a storm of emotions, as he slowly ravished me through the mirrors’ reflection. Thinking that he was ignoring me, I called out to him to which he only just nodded.
• “This should be the last time Hayden...I can't do this anymore...” I trailed, unsure of the complications that laid before me as I made the mind shaking choice. But finally, my conscious could settle, this way the demons could stop their torments.
