Chapter 39 Leo's Room

  • ELENA'S POV;
  • The drive home was so quiet, it was scary. Jessie had come out of the building searching for me, but Antonio already had me in his arms while Derek, without saying a word, left us to go to his own place. He was really nonchalant. When Jessie saw both me and Antonio and had froze, knowing she was probably in trouble for doing what it was that she did. But thankfully, Leo rescued her and took her with him. While it remained Antonio and me. He was really vexed as he looked out of his side window. I didn't know what to expect now because he was saying absolutely nothing. I was still drunk and my eyes were also looking out the window staring at the scenario taking place outside, with the lights and the cars that passed us by.
  • I expected him to say something, but he was quiet throughout our drive. When we arrived at his home, he didn't wait for the driver to get down, instead, he highlighted from the car, came to my side and opened my side door before lifting me. He walked into the building after that and everything was beginning to become quite dizzy. I didn't remember what happened after that because I drifted into sleep in his arms.
