• I knew I wasn't hearing things. The name, the voice...they were both familiar. My hands trembled as I walked down the stairs, hoping my nightmares weren't going to become a reality. All the years of my life hidden away from people like him and now he wants to reappear in my life. Or was I just hallucinating? It wasn't true was it? I walked down to the refrigerator and opened it to get a bottle of water but someone from behind me closed it causing me to jump with a yelp.
• His hand gripped my waist and turned me towards his direction so I was facing him. My eyes were closed out of fear and there I could feel his warm breath against my skin. My hands became sweaty as my heart pounded so loudly with trepidation. It was a sensation I'd never felt before because even the atmosphere was tense. I could feel him everywhere I went now.
