Chapter 37 My Highness

• ELENA'S POV;
• There was a book on her desk, like a diary. As she zipped up her dress in front of me. She noticed I was staring at her diary and while I was expecting that she was going to be vexed at that, she instead, took it and placed it in my hand. My eyes widened at her actions. She just placed a lifetime of secrets in my hands. Why would she do that?
• "I don't understand either, but I trust you. I just see Brianne so much in you and can't not see her. She knew everything about me. My life doesn't have to be a secret to you anymore because I count us as friends." She stated and I cocked a shocked brow. Friends? I'd never ever had friends before. I'd never and her words struck me in ways that I didn't understand. I don't know why but tears filled my eyes knowing that I had a friend. I looked at her and smiled. She didn't seem like the type of person to open up to anyone at all. "I'm not the open type. But everything about you is different. I just feel a deep connection between the both of us and hope that we move for the best no matter what." She stated and I didn't say anything, I just held the diary and was more than grateful that she chose to reveal a huge part of her life to me.
