Chapter 73

• I woke up late in the evening. I must have overslept, that should mean that I was really tired. That doctor might be right, perhaps I needed a break from stress, work and everything that has to do with stress.
• I looked around and I noticed that Alex was not in the room. So, he probably stayed back in the sitting room after I stormed out and walked out on him. Well, I didn't intend to do that, I just had to. I said to myself, trying to justify my actions.
• I went into the bathroom to check for him, just to confirm that he wasn't in the room at all. I opened the door and looked inside, but there was nothing still. I was convinced that he wasn't in the room.
