Chapter 22

• After dinner, as usual, I went to the kids' room to check up on them before they sleep off and before retiring for the night.
• I went to Marvin's room first, because Marvela's room was much closer to mine. He was in bed already when I entered his room. I was surprised he wasn't reading his comic book secretly. Alex was right afterall, the kids have been trained to observe times and that is what they do, with or without strict supervision.
• "Hey Marvin, my big baby boy." I called out sweetly as I sat down beside him.
