Chapter 54

• I had a day shift today, so I would be off for the night. I was so happy and glad. Not just because of the night off,but for the fact that Edison, my new boyfriend promised to give me a treat for the evening to ease my stress. I have been anticipating this for a long time now. Atleast, since I have the little time now and he has given me the proposal, which I grabbed without hesitation, knowing it might not come in this form again, I couldn't wait to see how it would look like.
• I was very jovial today, that many of the nurses around took notice of it and started asking me questions. Not wanting to share my personal Information with them, I waved it off and just told them that I woke up on the right side of the bed.
• It was past 12 PM in the afternoon and I was preparing to leave. My day off starts by 2pm today, so I had about an hour and thirty minutes to round up with everything I had to do before I leave.
