• “How long are you going to keep me blindfolded, Shin?” I chirped while he covered my eyes with his palms. I wasn’t even sure where I was in the house.
• “We’re there already,” he said behind me as he slowly pulled his hands away from my eyes. My breaths hung in my throat and my eyes twitched repeatedly to ascertain that I wasn’t dreaming. Indeed I wasn’t dreaming. The bubble painting of the famous Asher Louis was really hung on the wall before me in our living room. The same painting, Shin and I had shared a kiss in front of and kick-started our relationship.
