- “I’ve decided to keep this child, whether you want it or not. Call me selfish or not,” I said and his lips twitched while his eyes gleamed of uncertainty. I’ve always known his stance on having children yet a part of me still wanted him to say otherwise. To accept his child, maybe I was really imposing on him or this was grossly selfish of me but this was my genuine desire. I didn’t want to love him alone but I also wanted to have a family with him, to have kids running around and making a mess of the house he so much likes to keep orderly. But these eyes of his didn’t assure me enough that this dream of mine was soon going to be a reality.
