• After speaking with Gabriel on the phone I could barely concentrate on the work at hand in my office and I ended up closing up early. The late evening had dawned by the time I returned home.
• “Welcome home, Mr. Shin,” Caroline greeted courteously the moment I sauntered inside my living room. She was about to take my briefcase bag off my hand when I suddenly froze. I looked around again just to ascertain that I wasn’t seeing things or in the wrong house. Indeed this was my place but why did it look so different?
